Recent freelance directing of new plays includes Martina Cole's Dangerous Lady for Theatre Royal Stratford East which was nominated for two off-West End Awards and Inheritance by Mike Packer for Live Theatre, Newcastle for which David Hargreaves was runner up for Culture Journal's Perormer of the Year Award. Lisa also directed the radio version of In-Sook Chappell's This isn't Romance. She is presently working on Flowback, a new dance/text theatre piece which she is writing and directing with chreographer Ben Dukes and composer John Avery. She is also working on a new show with Greek writer/performer Amalia Arseni commissioned by Neos Kosmos in Athens, to be produced in Autumn 2016.
Recent freelance dramaturgy (2015) includes the acclaimed Shrapnel by Anders Lustgarten for Arcola Theatre and editing Nine Weeks in Arles by Norman Wexler (screenwriter of Saturday Night Fever and Serpico) for his estate.
