Lisa has spoken at a wide range of events as a cultural critic and on subjects of special interest to her such as playwriting, censorship, gender discrimination, public theatre.

2010: Keynote speaker at International Conference on Theatre Censorship at Dublin Theatre Festival, (pictured), along with playwright Fernando Arrabal


2010-12: Speaker for Hands of People of Iran about experience of working in Tehran and the situation for artists including filmmaker Jafar Panahi whom she met there.


2010: Speaker on post show panel at Broadway Theatre Barking of A Day at the Racists, a play Lisa helped develop which critiqued the BNP.
